At Beaudesert, we seek to develop high-quality computing education in order to equip our pupils to be safe and proficient in the computing landscape, at present times and in their future. We will provide the basis for computational thinking, learning, and creativity, and we will help children make IT links to the wider world. The links that Computing has with subjects such as mathematics, science, and design technology will be highlighted so that children are supported to become aware of insights into both natural and artificial systems. Our computing curriculum will aim to ensure that children develop these links as they progress through the school. We will plan for all children to have access to a wide range of technological resources, from laptops to iPads, and to be taught to be respectful and stay safe when they are online as well as what to do when they need help or support.
